Summer fun.
While we are still engaged on various projects in the workshop such as the Oak Table pictured below made to complement an existing set of chairs we thought we’d share a few of our summer activities away from work.

Mid July was the annual Steam Fair at Ballymena Showgrounds organised by The Traction Engine Club of Ulster and this year they held a special feature on David Brown tractors. A few members of The David Brown Tractor Club from Meltham, England (where the tractors were built) brought a few exhibits including the last tractor made at that site. It was a great chance to put faces to names and chat about all things David Brown and purchase items from the club shop. Eric and I had a great couple of days and the fine sunny weather on Saturday made it really special with a bumper crowd and football pitch full of tractors, can you spot Eric my DB780 selectamatic from this pic taken on the Friday?

On Friday past with some friends we took a go at Zorbing, basically for those who are not sure what it is basically its rolling down a hill inside an inflatable ball. It was great fun even though we got totally soaked!!
